How to install a supermoto wheelset on a mini e-moto

Support the bike safely, remove the stock wheels, transfer rotors and sprocket only if your kit requires it, then fit the supermoto wheels and spacers. Set chain tension, torque every fastener with threadlocker on rotor and sprocket bolts, and finish with a low-speed test ride.

Who this is for

Mini e-moto riders (Tuttio, Yozma, Strike, Heybike) installing a Torq supermoto wheelset at home.

  1. Tools and prep. Gather the wrenches and sockets for your axles and bolts, a torque wrench, threadlocker, and a stand. Turn the bike off.
  2. Support the bike and remove the stock wheels. Lift the bike securely so the wheel is off the ground, loosen the axle, slip the chain off the rear sprocket and pull the wheel out.
  3. Transfer rotors and sprocket if your kit requires it. Some kits include them, others don't — check what's in the box.
  4. Fit the supermoto wheels and spacers. Seat the spacers, line the rotor up with the caliper, and slide the axle through.
  5. Set chain tension. Adjust evenly on both sides so the wheel stays aligned.
  6. Torque fasteners. Apply threadlocker to rotor and sprocket bolts and tighten everything to spec.
  7. Low-speed test ride. Check braking and listen for rubbing before riding normally.

Safety checklist

  • Never squeeze the brake lever with the wheel removed.
  • Threadlocker on every rotor and sprocket bolt.
  • Keep grease and oil off the rotor and pads.
  • Re-check fasteners after your first ride.

Surron and Talaria installs differ and need the platform-specific kit — see Surron / Talaria fitment. When you're done, run the after-install checklist.
